Add CardPointers to ChatGPT

It's now possible to integrate all of your CardPointers cards, offers, and recommendations right into ChatGPT (it does require a paid ChatGPT plan at this time). The app has already been submitted to the ChatGPT store, but you can manually configure the MCP immediately by following these steps from chatgpt.com:

  1. Click on your profile at the bottom left.

  1. Click on Settings

  1. Click on Apps

  1. Click on Advanced Settings     to enable Developer mode.

  1. Enable Developer mode by clicking the toggle.

  1. Click on Create app

  1. Only two fields are required:
    1. Name: CardPointers
    2. MCP Server URL: https://mcp.cardpointers.com/mcp

  1. Scroll down and click on the "I understand" toggle
  2. Click on the Create     button

  1. You'll be redirected to the CardPointers site to log in (if you haven't already), then click on Authorize

  1. You're all set, leave Developer mode on, X out of the Settings, and you can now ask ChatGPT anything about your cards or offers, or recommendations for which card to use for a specific category or store. It's automatically updated and sync'd in real-time.

While in developer mode you'll have access to all of the tools that come with the app. There can be a delay of a few minutes before you can use the new app in your ChatGPT mobile app, but then it all works automatically.

Pro tip: use @cardpointers  before a message to force it to use one of its tools if it doesn't pick it up automatically.

Below shows a few screenshots of the CardPointers app integrated into ChatGPT.
