Downgrade/Product Change a Card

CardPointers 6 adds the ability to downgrade / product change a card right in the app. You'll want to first check with the bank as they often have limitations in which cards can be changed into other variants, but once you have finished that, here's how you update the card in CardPointers:

1. Navigate to the Cards tab then tap on the card that you want to change.
2. Tap on the ... button at the top right of the Card Details screen.
3. Choose Product Change to open the Product Change screen.

4. Search for the card to change to, or scroll the list of other cards from that bank.
5. Select the card that you've downgraded / to which you've product changed.
6. Tap Save to confirm that everything is correct.
7. You will see the Notes field will record the date that the product change occurred for your reference in the future. The new card retains your original approval date, and in some cases, your offers.
