CarPlay App
CardPointers 6 launched in September 2024 with a CarPlay app that's designed to help you find the best deals on every trip you take. It factors in your credit cards' rewards, as well as any offers you have at nearby merchants, to help you save money.
You'll see the app automatically appear when you connect your iOS 16+ device to your car:
The app is divided into 3 tabs:
Map
You'll see the gas stations, hotels, restaurants, and other stores nearest to you; use the list on the left to see the names and savings based on your cards' rewards and offers, and when you tap on any location you'll see which card to use there, along with buttons to get more Details and Directions to that location.
List
This is a list view of the stores you can see in the Map tab to see even more information.
Favorites
When you favorite any store or category in the CardPointers app, those will sync automatically with the CarPlay app, so you'll have quick access to all of your favorites. This gives you access at your fingertips without having to pull out your iPhone, and is automatically updated.
